When renovating, many people have doubts when choosing the best type of product to cover the outside areas of the house. Adamá presents the exposed aggregate tiles, from the Tessera line, which has several advantages: they are non-slip, have high resistance, in addition to low maintenance, due to their material, the concrete.

The products, which consist of plates ready for installation, are indicated for external areas such as ramps, garages and sidewalks. The plate format represents a great differential, as it guarantees a longer product life, easy replacement if needed, in addition to a more homogeneous and modern look.

The tiles are available in four color options: Tapioca, delicate and elegant; Aveia, with an aspect of wet sand from the beach, Pitaya, modern and refined; and Cafe, which perfectly balances practicality and sophistication.

The tiles are available in two formats: rectangular (15.75''x31.5'') and trapezoid (15.75" x 31.5"), which is innovative compared to standard market models. After being installed in the external area, this format allows a different perspective of each angle of the space, causing a pleasant sensation when looked at.

Other strengths appear in its thickness (1.6 cm) and weight (9.5 kg), synonymous with lightness, compared to the market average (2.5 cm and 25 kg). For this reason, they are lighter parts and easier to handle on the construction site, requiring less effort from the settlers, in addition to reducing transportation costs.

Coping

To complement, Adamá also launched two coping stair steps formats in the Fulget line, in sizes 15.75"x15.75" and 15.75"x31.5", available in the same colors as the tiles.

Installation

The laying can be carried out with flexible ACIII mortar, preferably in white, always ensuring that there is no contact between the mortar and the coating surface. A minimum distance between the tiles of 1/8" must be maintained. Grouting is not necessary, but if grouting is carried out, do not let the mortar come into contact with the finishing surface, as there is a risk of causing irreversible stains to the product.

Protection and mantainance

It is necessary that cementitious coatings are waterproofed after laying to protect against stains and dirt. For protection, we indicate an oil-based impregnating sealer, which protects the parts from liquid dirt, in addition to maintaining the natural appearance of the coating. For the application, follow the guidelines according to each manufacturer.

For day-to-day cleaning, the recommendation is to use neutral detergent by mixing it with water in a bucket. The detergent should not be applied directly to the floor. Alkaline detergent should be used in cases of cleaning after more severe dirt.
